He made his movies with almost no money.Just think of what his movies would have been like if he had a large budget. Was he a director with know talent? We'll never know.He never bad the money to prove himself.I want to get Ed a star on the "Hollywood Walk Of Fame"someday.Know kidding!!

Although I grew up with occasional exposure to "Plan 9 From Outer Space" on the Saturday night horror flicks, I never
appreciated Wood's work much until I saw Burton's film. Since then I have watched "Plan 9" again and found it to have
a certain charm. Now I'm looking for a copy of "Bride of the Monster", and I still have not seen "Glen or Glenda"...dw

  • Message: I like you have never heard of Ed Wood until I saw Tim Burton's 1994 release of the film. Johnny Depp was born to play Ed. As I was watching the movie, I was slowing falling in love with this dear, sweet man, who genuinely cared about people. The Best scene was when Ed confessed his secret, in the tunnel of love, to his future wife on their second date:
Future Wife "Does this mean you don't like to have sex with women?"
Ed "I LOVE Having Sex with Women"!
What a man. I bet he was hot in bed.

No explanations, no apologies, no nuthin'. I'm just a little pissed off here - I gotta see this movie, but again on VHS? Nope, I won't do it. I may have found your page by accident, but it's the best
accident I have had! I thought that I was the only person in this world to
have heard of Edward D. Wood Jr, but , thank God I was wrong! Just by
creating this web page, you have ensured that many more audiences to come
will be equally captivated and amused by the obvious lack of talent
    that this man possessed!
Yes, his films may be really bad. But, they are so bad that they
    are good!

If he only had a larger budget I KNOW that he would have been up there with Speilberg. The plots of all his movies, except pornos, are some of the most thought out and well imagined plots I have ever seen. This man was pure brilliance. Perhaps others can not see who he was and what he had to work with. Your site has many links that really made me know more.. You should expand your web page.

What they are putting together is trash--the story written by Ed Wood was not a joke. Just look at Billy Zane in the movie poster--it's a disgrace. The story is not a comedy. You know, when you think of the likes of, say, Dan Quayle and Malcolm Forbes, they're hitting the big time, and they didn't even have to try. At least Ed tried. His heart was in the right place and he TRIED. Better than I can say for many others. What was it someone described Ed as: a genius with no talent. Rest in peace, Ed. We, those few, remember you....

for her talents. Lisa would like to make a personal appearance at an "Ed
Wood Film Festival" if one is produced here in Hollywood. Lisa has been
cheated by barely being mentioned in the book and not being consulted for
the film. Now she's not even being mentioned on the internet. I plan to
bring the truth forth. Lisa Page is a bonified Ed Wood film star and
authority on the life of Ed Wood.

I checked out the movie after our band, Simon Stinger, shot a video for our song "He's Your Swamp Thing". So many people were coming up to us saying that Ed Wood would have been proud - it reminded them of a campy Ed Wood film. Anyway I loved that movie, I only recently saw it and I have shared it with lots of friends already. The relationship between Ed and Bela was so touching. I am chomping at the bit to see his films. I had actually bought "Bride of the Monster" for the girl who starred in our video as a gift for Xmas, but I never saw the film myself and I don't talk to her anymore, she moved. Anyway thanks for this special treat! E-mail anytime. Snail mail is: Simon Stinger, P.O. Box 5857, Concord, CA 94524. Our page on the garage will be up in a couple of days.
